Echo reduction with logo acoustic panels for GLOBSEC

Project Overview

DECIBEL, in collaboration with local partner POTICHU, delivered an acoustic treatment project for GLOBSEC in Bratislava, New Town. The task was to improve the sound conditions in a Focus Room used for phone and video calls.

The client was experiencing a strong echo, which disrupted communication and affected the quality of business conversations. The goal was to reduce reverberation and create a more professional and pleasant environment for remote meetings.

Echo Reduction for Clearer Communication

In small rooms like focus spaces in offices or meeting booths, echo can easily build up due to hard surfaces. This can make phone or video conversations difficult to understand and frustrating for both parties.

The client needed an acoustic solution that would absorb sound effectively while also matching the visual style of the office.

Challenge

The main challenge was to reduce the echo in a small room without altering its function or layout. The solution needed to be visually integrated into the interior design and represent the client’s brand in a subtle and modern way.

• Customization of panels with GLOBSEC logo printing
• Full in-house design and delivery of the solution
• On-site installation in coordination with client operations

Solution

DECIBEL proposed Beelive acoustic panels for the walls of the Focus Room. These panels were selected for their high sound absorption and modern design. To reflect the client’s branding, the panels were customized with printed company logos, making the treatment both functional and decorative.

All parts of the project, from measurement and design to production and installation, were completed in-house by the DECIBEL and POTICHU teams.

Result

The echo in the Focus Room was significantly reduced after the installation, leading to much clearer phone and video call communication. The client appreciated not only the technical improvement but also the visual integration of the branded acoustic panels. The space now offers a professional and comfortable environment for business calls.
