Dpact Membrane – Durable Impact Soundproofing for Floors

Dpact Membrane is a premium cross-linked polyethene membrane designed to deliver exceptional impact noise reduction across all types of flooring systems. It combines acoustic precision, mechanical strength, and ease of installation to create quieter, more comfortable living and working environments.
Engineered for both new construction and renovation projects, Dpact Membrane ensures long-lasting performance without compromising energy efficiency, sustainability, or structural integrity.
How It Works
Dpact Membrane consists of closed-cell cross-linked polyethene, a material specifically developed to absorb and isolate impact vibrations. When installed beneath a floor screed, it prevents the transmission of footsteps, knocks, and other mechanical impacts through the building structure.
Its high compressive strength ensures minimal thickness loss even under heavy loading, maintaining stability over time. The membrane is lightweight, flexible, waterproof, and approved for underfloor heating systems, providing both acoustic and thermal comfort.
Importantly, Dpact is CFC-free, meaning it contains no chemical compounds that deplete the ozone layer. This makes the product safer for the environment while meeting modern eco-friendly construction standards.
Key Benefits
- Proven impact noise reduction for all flooring types.
- Excellent compressive strength and long-term mechanical durability.
- Minimal deformation under load for stable, lasting performance.
- Waterproof and compatible with underfloor heating systems.
- Lightweight, flexible, and easy to cut for fast installation.
- Eco-friendly and free from ozone-depleting CFCs.
- Certified under European acoustic and quality management standards.
Installation Overview
Dpact Membrane is installed directly over the concrete floor slab:
- Unroll the membrane, overlapping each strip by 10 cm.
- Seal overlaps with adhesive tape to prevent mortar penetration.
- Extend the membrane 10–15 cm up the walls, securing it with adhesive; trim the excess after the floor is completed.
- Place the reinforced mortar compression layer (minimum 4 cm) on top.
- Ensure the concrete slab is clean, smooth, and free of sharp elements before installation.
Proper sealing is essential, as even small gaps can reduce acoustic insulation performance.
