DECIBEL Named Factory of the Year 2025 by Capital
DECIBEL, a leading European manufacturer of sound insulation and acoustic solutions, has been awarded the prestigious title “Factory of the Year 2025” in the competition organised by Capital.
The award recognises the company’s exceptional production standards, ongoing innovations and its contribution to the industry in Bulgaria and beyond.
A Production Facility Setting the Standard in Europe
DECIBEL operates its own 2,000 m² production facility in Botevgrad – one of the largest factories for sound insulation and acoustic materials in Europe.
The factory opened in 2014, and in the years that followed, DECIBEL has continuously invested in modernisation, a process that continues to this day:
- a fast CNC wire-cutting machine enabling the creation of complex shapes from acoustic blocks (2015),
- CNC cutting and folding equipment for metal processing,
- CNC machinery for the production of perforated acoustic panels.
The innovative nature of DECIBEL’s products – many of which did not previously exist as solutions on the global market – also requires the development of proprietary manufacturing technologies.
The company has integrated robotic systems that accelerate production and improve precision. However, DECIBEL emphasises that no machine can replace the attention to detail demonstrated by the skilled experts in the factory, whose experienced hands and observant eyes ensure the highest quality.
The facility includes dedicated areas for woodworking, metalworking, textiles, and the manufacture of gypsum-composite products, enabling full control over quality.

At this year’s distinguished ceremony organised by Capital, the jury recognised DECIBEL for its:
- high-tech production facility,
- continuous investment in innovation,
- strong export potential,
- sustainable and efficient manufacturing practices,
- proven engineering and R&D expertise.
The evaluation process included financial indicators, production efficiency and organisational development - areas in which DECIBEL demonstrated strategic maturity and vision.
