Acoustic wall treatment of a designer office

Project Overview
A corporate office was experiencing disruptive echo and poor acoustics during daily operations and conference calls. DECIBEL was brought in to provide an acoustic treatment that would address the reverberation while aligning with the office’s visual identity.
Challenge
The space featured thin glass walls that amplified echo, especially during calls, making it difficult for employees to focus and communicate effectively.
Scope of Work
DECIBEL consulted on the acoustic needs, supplied the appropriate treatment, and completed the installation.
Solution
Triangle panels from the Geometry Live Line series were installed on key wall surfaces. These panels were selected for their acoustic performance and visual compatibility with the office branding.
Result
Reverberation was reduced, improving speech clarity and concentration during calls. The panels also enhanced the overall aesthetic of the workspace.
Acoustic treatment of hard surfaces
In modern office environments, especially those with hard reflective surfaces like glass, targeted wall treatments are essential for maintaining acoustic comfort without compromising design.
